Description
This aerial photo shows the Black Warrior River with a lift bridge that connected Northport and Tuscaloosa, Alabama. At that time Greensboro Avenue when down River Hill to the bridge. Following Greensboro Avenue to the south, the ten-story bank building at the corner of University Boulevard and Greensboro Avenue and the Alston Building can be seen. At the far left, part of the railroad bridge can be seen.
