This postcard shows an aerial view of Tuscaloosa made sometime after 1938. The street that runs from upper left down the photo is Greensboro Avenue.
On the right side of the street, the bank building (at University Boulevard and Greensboro Avenue), and the Alston Building are clearly visible. On the left, the northernmost square building is the McLester Hotel and further south is the County Courthouse.
The Black Warrior River runs along the top of the photo.
