Sam Palmer Faucett Sr. was a businessman in Northport, Alabama. He was a partner with George Christian in a general store named Christian and Faucett, located in a two-story building on the northwest corner of 5th Street and Main Avenue in Northport.
Faucett is shown in this photograph enjoying a cup of coffee at Windham Springs, a recreation area north of Tuscaloosa in Tuscaloosa County. Windham Springs was hit by a tornado and the recreation area was destroyed. Faucett died in 1928.
