Morris Loveman Friedman (1891-1981) was a well-known Tuscaloosa businessman and was active in community theater.
He was co-founder of Black, Friedman and Winston, an exclusive men's clothing store.
Victor Morris Friedman (1928-2010) attended Tuscaloosa High School and graduated from the University of Alabama. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was part owner of Black, Friedman and Winston Clothiers. a member of the Exchange Club and was elder and deacon of First Presbyterian Church. Friedman was survived by his wife, Segail Irwin Friedman; a daughter Lynda Friedman O'Brien and a son Scott I. Friedman.
