Description

Chapel Hill Baptist Church was featured as the Feature Church in the Tuscaloosa News on August 7, 1970. Bobby R. Holladay was minister at that time.

"Somewhere, someway, sometime each day, I'll turn aside and stop and pray That God will make this church The way of RIGHTEOUSNESS to men"

"Chapel Hill Baptist Church on highway 43 North in Northport was organized in 1944. The church had 13 charter members with services held on the second and fourth Sundays in homes of its members.
On March 11, 1945, services were held in the church building. That building is now being used for Sunday school rooms and the fellowship hall.
The church building pictured above was dedicated for the worship of God in prayer and praise, for the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and for the teaching of the Holy Scriptures on November 5, 1967.
Chapel Hill praises God for His many blessings. 556 people have joined our fellowship since 1944, 333 members, whose names have not been erased by moving or death are now recorded."
