Description
The Mutual Oil station was at the foot of River Hill in Tuscaloosa, a few blocks from the draw bridge that crossed the Black Warrior River to connect Northport to Tuscaloosa. At the top of the hill, the bank building can be seen as well as the Burchfield Hotel. In the distance beyond the station are rental houses that were owned in the 1940 by a Mr. Freeman.
