Description
Sheriff Palmer Morrison Watts was shot down in cold blood by notorious Tuscaloosa County outlaw Doc (Dock) Bigham when he and special revenue officers raided two big stills in the Piney Woods community of northern Tuscaloosa County. Bigham was captured and became the last man legally hanged in Tuscaloosa County in 1919.
