Description
A handsome antebellum home, the Jemison-Van de Graaff Mansion was built by Robert Jemison, Jr., plantation owner. The house was completed in 1862 and built of materials that came from Jemison plantations. Slave labor trained at his Cherokee Plantation did most of the construction.
