A photograph of Delta Kappa Epsilon at the University of Alabama taken in 1929 after a snow storm. Delta Kappa Epsilon, also known as DKE, the first fraternity at the University of Alabama, was established in 1847. Due to a ban on all fraternities, it was inactive from 1856 to 1885.
