Sgt. James L. Wesson was killed on July 21, 1944, when his plane crashed somewhere over Czechoslovakia. At the time of his death Sgt. Wesson was serving with the 744th Bomb Squadron, 456th Bomb Group. Sgt. Wesson was the son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Wallace of Tuscaloosa.
