Pvt. Perry E. Doss died from pneumonia while serving with the 149th Infantry Division in England. Pvt. Doss was the son of Perry Anderson Doss and Mary Matilda Bagwell Doss of Tuscaloosa. Pvt. Doss was a member of Tuscaloosa Methodist Church South.
