According to Ancestry.com. Alabama Soldiers in the Korean War, 1950-1952, Cpl. Cecil Reed was presumed killed on December 2, 1950, while serving with Company D, 32nd Infantry Regiment, 7th Division. Cpl. Reed was the son of Mr. Darius Reed of Sulligent. For his service Cpl. Reed was awarded a Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and multiple other decorations.
