According to Ancestry.com. Alabama Soldiers in the Korean War, 1950-1952, Cpl. Theodore. R. Doss was captured on November 26, 1950, by the North Korean Army. According to this site: http://valor.militarytimes.com/recipient.php?recipientid=60447, it was later determined he died or was killed while a prisoner. Prior to his capture Cpl. Doss served with Company C, 9th Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division. Cpl. Doss was the son of Mrs. Mamie L. Doss of Myrtlewood.
