Cpl. Thomas H. Cook was killed on July 30, 1951, while a prisoner of war of the Korean Army. Prior to being captured Cpl. Cook served with Company L, 8th Calvary Regiment, 1st Calvary Division. Cpl. Cook had attended Tuscaloosa High School and was the son of Mrs. William Henry Cook of Tuscaloosa.
