1Lt. Milton Montgomery was killed on March 11, 1943, when his plane crashed in Virginia, during a training accident. Lt. Montgomery was a graduate of Tuscaloosa Senior High School and the University of Alabama. Montgomery was the husband of Julia Edwards Montgomery and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Roy R. Montgomery.
