Capt. Richard A. Edmonds was killed on June 29, 1944, when his plane crashed somewhere over the Pacific. Capt. Edmonds was from Brent, Alabama. He attended both the University of Alabama and Auburn University. Capt. Edmonds was the husband of Audrey Edmonds of Tuscaloosa and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert E. Edmonds of Brent.
