Description
Dill and Collier Drugstore was opened in 1887. One owner, W.A. Collier, soon bought controlling interest in the store and was said to be one of the finest pharmacists in Tuscaloosa. The business, originally across Broad Street (now University Boulevard) from Maxwell Brothers Store, was moved to a larger location in the McLester Hotel Building on Market Street (now Greensboro Avenue).
