Description
According to "Past Horizons," published by the Tuscaloosa County Preservation Society in 1978, this house was one of a pair of charming small houses built around 1880 at 2708 Broad Street (now University Boulevard). A straight-on view of the building shows the detail of the trim on the gable roof and slender columns on the front of the house. The original front door displays interesting dentil detail and has a large transom above it.
The two houses were purchased by Tanner & Guin law firm about 1993 and were demolished.
