Description
Seaman Allen E. Turner died of pneumonia on November 4, 1918, while serving on the USS Nevada. At the time of his death the USS Nevada was somewhere in European waters. Seaman Turner was the brother of Pvt. George W. Turner who was killed in France in October 1918. Seaman Turner was the son of Mr. James Turner of Tuscaloosa.
