Lt. Farley W. Moody was killed on October 11, 1918, while serving with Company B, 325th Infantry Regiment, 82nd Infantry Division in France. Lt. Moody was a graduate of the University of Alabama and of University's Law School. While a student at Alabama Lt. Moody was a well known football player. Following his time at the University Lt. Moody was a practicing lawyer in Tuscaloosa. Lt. Moody was the son of the Honorable Frank S. Moody.
