Sgt. John W. Tidmore was killed on May 27, 1945, while serving with the 21st Infantry, 24th Division on Mindanao. Sgt. Tidmore was the husband of Mrs. Mildred O. Tidmore and the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Ezra Tidmore of Moundville.
