Description
Capt. Alford E. Terry was killed on July 16, 1944, while serving with the 47th Infantry, 9th Division in France. Capt. Terry was the husband of Mrs. Frances Holley Terry and the son of Mr. and Mrs. A.E. Terry of Tuscaloosa. Prior to his service in France, Capt. Terry was a veteran of North Africa where he received the Silver Star and Purple Heart.
