Description
Seaman 2nd Class Charles B. South was killed on December 7, 1941 when his ship the USS Arizona was sunk during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. Seaman South had enlisted and served with Seaman Lewis B. Hughes who was also killed in the attack.
