Odessa Warrick was a member of the Tuscaloosa City Council in the late 1990's. She earned the nickname "Warrior" for her grit and savvy.
She is a graduate of Tuskegee Institute School of Nursing and is also a U. S. Army/Air Force retired veteran.
She is an active member of The First African Baptist Church where she serves as a Deaconess and on the Nurses Guild. She also serves the community as a member of the Travel and Convention Bureau Board of Directors and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference. She has three children and nine grand-children.
