Description

This building was the G.B. Wright Dime Store building that housed the Tuscaloosa Times-Gazette, a newspaper that was published between 1903 and 1910.

Wright's Dime Store was the first of its kind in Tuscaloosa. In the photo are Griggsby Bert (G. B.) Wright (right) with his sons Griggsby Herbert Wright and John Wright. The building was located on Broad Street (now University Boulevard).
