Description
The Lorrie Memorial Lending Library is located in the Holt community. The library is owned by God’s House, an independent church. The library occupies a former post office on the property of the church. The 4,000-volume library was named for the librarian of Open Books, a library and bookstore formerly located in Huntsville, Alabama.
The library contains collections intended to serve the needs of their community, such as books on a wide variety of religious topics, spiritual experiences, self-help, and LGBTQ fiction and nonfiction. The library is one of the largest lending libraries for LGBTQ fiction in the southeast.
