Description
Herman Brothers Restaurant welcomes home the Alabama National Guard. The restaurant was located on the south side of Broad Street between Greensboro Avenue and 23rd Street, two doors down from Kress'. A sign advertises soda water and a note attached to the photo indicates that the restaurant had the first soda water dispenser. It has the name of Harvey (Henry?) P. Herman. A Coca Cola sign leaning against the tree indicates they sold for 5 cents.
