SSgt. Harry M. Kitchens was killed on August 2, 1966, while serving with Company B, 2nd Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Regiment. Sgt. Kitchens was the husband of Mrs. Harry Kitchens and the son of Mr. and Mrs. Loyde Kitchens. For his service Sgt. Kitchens was awarded the Silver Star.
