TSgt. Robert F. Wright was killed on January 24, 1945, while serving with the 26th Infantry Regiment, 1st Infantry Division in Belgium. Sgt. Wright was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Mosely Wright of Pickensville. For his service Sgt. Wright was awarded the Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Purple Heart.
