2Lt Fred Bice was killed in September, 1942, when his plane crashed in Ottawa, Ontario as he was en route overseas. Lt. Bice was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and a member of First Baptist Church. Lt. Bice was the son of Mrs. Tina Bice.
