Advertisement for the Shamrock, "Alabama's largest billiard parlor," found in a 1935 copy of the Corolla, the University of Alabama yearbook. "The O. K. Barber Shop in connection for your convenience."
The Shamrock was located in a basement at 611 Greensboro Avenue. There was a stairwell in the sidewalk to access it. The sidewalk stairs were believed to be located between Lorch's Jewelry Store and the former Garner's Restaurant, lately the Brick House.
