Description
Built around 1835, Franklin Hall was a dormitory at the University of Alabama that was burned in 1865 when Union Troops came through Tuscaloosa. The site of Franklin Hall was shaped into a mound and has been used for tapping during honor ceremonies. The steps of the building can still be seen along with the historical marker that gives the history of the site.
