In 1916, a library was located in the rotunda, a beautifully detailed circular room near the back of the main building.

The superintendents of the hospital resided in a lovely home on Bryce Hospital Drive.

Bryce Hospital conducted a nursing school in the 1930 and 1940s. The students were housed on campus, given uniforms and food and were paid a nominal amount.

The industrial arts room provided a space where patients had the opportunity to work and create if they chose.

Many patients were farmers and chose to work on the farms that Bryce Hospital provided. They grew vegetables and raised animals for meat that fed the residents of the hospital.
