Moody was a graduate of the University of Alabama and of University's Law School. While a student at Alabama Lt. Moody was a well known football player. Following his time at the University Lt. Moody was a practicing lawyer in Tuscaloosa. Lt. Moody was the son of the Honorable Frank S. Moody. <br /><br />Lt. Lt. Findley B. Durrett was killed on October 16, 1918, while serving with the United States Army in France. Lt. Durrett was the son of Mrs. Sallie Durrett of Northport. For three years Lt. Durrett attended the University of Alabama where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Some of Lt. Durrett's time in Sigma Chi is recounted in Volume 34 of the <a href="https://books.google.com/books?id=_A8TAAAAIAAJ&pg=PA306&lpg=PA306&dq=%22findley+durrett%22&source=bl&ots=EC28bbXh3f&sig=SuZmaezlQx5hP4LKgFMwXH22klg&hl=en&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwievuzfn9_JAhVnzIMKHbqRAJ8Q6AEIJjAD#v=onepage&q=%22findley%20durrett%22&f=false">Sigma Chi Quarterly </a>. <br /><br />Lt.
