Cpl. Taylor H. McLemore was killed on June 3, 1967, while serving with Company A, 1st Battalion, 27th Infantry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division. Cpl. McLemore attended Greene County Training School prior to his service. Cpl. McLemore was the cousin of Charles Cook of Tishabee.
