Hoit was the son of Mr. Isaiah D. Hoit of Sumter County, and <a title="U.S. National Cemetery Interment Control Forms, 1928-1962" href="http://search.ancestrylibrary.com/search/db.aspx?dbid=2590">U.S. National Cemetery Interment Control Forms, 1928-1962</a>, the husband of Mrs. Clara N.
