Ettecca School was five miles north of the present (2014) Northside High School at the intersection of what was then Byler Road (now U.S. 43) and Concord Road (now County Road 12) in Tuscaloosa County, Alabama. The school was build in 1927 on land donated by Morgan P.and Mamie Cannon.  The school closed in 1967.</text>

It was the first football team for the school located in the Samantha area of Tuscaloosa County (Ala.) that opened in 1918. The school was closed in 1959 when the new Northside High School was built.&#13;

The team lost their first game in 1947 to Hole, 66-0.&#13;
&#13;
Their first win came in their second season against Palmetto.&#13;
The coach for the team was Johnny Hall. Bobby Walker coached the Generals from the mid 1950's to 1959 with success.&#13;
