In 2010 with the theme of "A Crimson Christmas", the staff including future library director Rick Freemon marched in the West Alabama Christmas Parade with the largest Clifford Tuscaloosa had ever seen. Made in the fashion of a Chinese Dragon Clifford was a hit with parade goers and would ensure the library once again came home with a trophy for the best Marching Group.
