Dear Mr. Friedman,
I am making a bill in bank to-day with Mr. George Searcy, and have taken the liberty of stating to him that I would suggest you as one of my endorsers. I have just returned from Georgia, forced to return several months ealier than I expected on account of trouble in our business in Atlanta. This business has passed into the hands of a receiver. It will not know where to turn except to my Tuskaloosa friends. I have an excellent openings in my profession and I hope to take a stand which my friends will not be ashamed of. With best regards, I am,
                                         Your Truly,
                                         Carlton Mitchell

Please see George Searcy if you are willing to do so. If you wish, other names in addtion to you three I will note them.
