Capt. John C. Yeuell was killed on April 3, 1943, when his plane crashed in a training accident over Florida. He was a graduate of the University of Alabama. Yeuell was the husband of Jane Underwood Yeuell and the son of Dr. and Mrs. Gladstone Yeuell of Tuscaloosa.
