Seamen Second Class Daniel Pugh and Woodrow Wilson Jones were killed on December 7, 1941, during the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor while serving on the USS Arizona. The brothers were the sons of Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Jones of Cottondale.
