Description
Boatman's Mate 2nd Class Benjamin B Channell died on October 19, 1943, in North Africa due to wounds from a truck accident. Benjamin was a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School and a member of Bethel Presbyterian Church. He was the son of Vera Channell of Northport. Initially buried in North Africa he was brought home to be buried at his home church in 1948.
