Description
Radioman James R. Adams was first reported missing in action on July 2, 1944, in the Pacific. Adams would later be declared dead on July 3, 1945. For his service he was awarded the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. He was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School and the son of James Monroe Adams.
