Andrew Fuller Prince, born Oct. 14, 1845, was a store owner and alderman in Tuscaloosa in the late 1800s and early 1900s.
He was a partner in a clothing store, Snow and Prince, with E.N.C. Snow, established in 1889. A few years later the name changed to Prince and Son when Hugh Prince took the place of Snow as partner with his father.
Andrew Fuller Prince, the senior member of the firm, was buyer and went to New York every season to select the latest novelties and most fashionable goods for the benefit of his customers.
Andrew Fuller Prince represented the city in his ward as alderman. He and his son Hugh Prince were "members of high social standing and exceptional business ability," according to The Tuscaloosa Times - Trade Editions, May 12, 1899.
Andrew Fuller Prince died on Mar. 22, 1917.
